Project Background
Center Parcs Sherwood Forest, one of the UK’s premier holiday destinations, is currently undergoing a large- scale refurbishment programme across more than 100 holiday lodges.
Real Electrical Solutions (R.E.S) were appointed to deliver the full electrical overhaul as part of this ambitious redevelopment project, ensuring every lodge benefits from a safe, energy-efficient, and future-proof electrical system that enhances both guest experience and operational reliability.
Services Provided
R.E.S delivered a comprehensive commercial
electrical installation package, including:
- Complete electrical rewiring of all holiday lodges.
- Distribution board upgrades and new circuit installations.
- Energy-efficient LED lighting systems (internal and external).
- Power and data cabling for smart systems and modern appliances.
- Fire alarm and smoke detection integration.
- Emergency lighting and safety signage, where required.
- Full EICR testing and certification.
- Coordination with building management systems (BMS).

Project Outcome
All works are being completed to BS 7671:2018+A2:2022, Building Regulations Part P, and Center Parcs’ stringent in-house safety standards.
